I have never been a coupon person. I always looked at them, cut them out and then put them in a safe place that I would definitely remember only to forget I have them when the time came to buy something. I am one of those people who couldn't be less bothered by that stuff. And then I had a baby! For some reason once you have a baby , coupons become your best friends. Baby stuff is so expensive! Diapers, formula, its like you are going bankrupt every month. But luckily enough once companies find out you have a baby, they keep sending you coupons in the mail for products they want you to try. And babies are definitely not picky. They will eat whatever you give them. They will play with anything you put in front of them and wear anything you put them in, all while staying healthy and super cute. The amount of money I have saved using all those coupons is incredible. I love it!
When you start buying things from different stores you start to figure out which stores and store locations have the best prices. For example , me and my husband by fluke found this super small shop where they sell formula for $22. The same formula at Walmart or Shoppers is about $35. Do we go anywhere else for formula now? No way!
So in conclusion ... use your coupons! Do your research. Buy products from different places. It is all worth it once you find the perfect places to get everything. Oh and lets not forget ... sign up for anything and everything baby related out there. Rewards programs for diapers, points programs for wipes ... anything goes. Since you buy so much of everything ... it all adds up really fast.
