Review - The Boon Spoon

Baby feeding time can be a big mess.  Sometimes you have a spoon flying in one direction and the bowl flying in another.  Its just a big disaster ... and its unavoidable because you cannot control a baby's excited moving arms.  Which is what attracted me to the Boon Spoon to begin with.  

You open the spoon, pour your baby food into it and feed your baby.  I love it!  What I love about the product is that you are able to feed your baby without the mess.  Because you are able to control the amount of food coming out into the spoon, it makes it very easy to feed your baby.  The even flow of food coming out into the spoon serves as a great transition from bottle to spoon.   If your baby does not finish the food in the spoon you can put a cap on it and it will not spill.  Its easy to clean and can be conveniently stored into the fridge once you are done feeding your baby.  You can travel with it and feed your baby in the car on long drives without making a mess in the car.  The only mess you will find is probably on your baby's face =) 

The only problem I see with this product is if the baby food has chunks in it.  The chunks get stuck in the passage so as long as the food you are putting in the spoon is pureed you should be fine.  And if you are using dark coloured baby food such as carrots, the spoon may stain slightly.  

So overall this is a really convenient and easy to use product.  Every parent should own one of these.  You will love it and since babies love bright things .... they will love it too.
